Yellow Belt
I have tons to catch up on (Jayci turning 4, our family reunion in Jersey, etc.) but the quickest news is that Treyton earned his YELLOW belt last night! He has been working really hard since January in Justice Style American Shotokon to learn all of his combinations, punches, kicks, and blocks so he could pass his test. Although he was a bit tired last night during his test (I let him go to the park with a friend for two hours before when it was 90 degrees out!), his Teacher, Ms. Tammy, has been impressed with how hard he worked and how much he knows and said he definitely deserves it. So, as a reward for working so hard and sticking with it, we bought Trey his first Gi! He was one of the only ones in the class not to have one yet. We wanted to make sure he would stick with it and had something to work towards. He was so excited to try it on when he got home. He is the first of his class to earn his yellow belt. We are so proud of him!

SWEET! Good work Treyton. And he looks so cute in his gi. :)
We were so impressed when we saw him practice - so we're not surprised he passed his test. What a great little karate kid - we're so proud of you, Trey!
