My parents were kind enough to let us galavant off up to Oklahoma for a few days to see the Putnams (our great friends who moved down there last year). My mom drove up with me half way. We spent the night in her birthplace, Fort Worth. It was so fun. We saw all of old stockyards, ate at a famous bar that has a rodeo ground inside, dance floor, and concert area where tons of artists have performed. We spent the night in a hotel, watched American Idol with two VERY interested little kids, heard Treyton say a full-out prayer in the middle of night in his sleep, and saw a WAY overrated cattle drive the next morning. It was tons of fun to spend that time with my mom. Thanks for driving with us!

This is the place we ate at/looked around. It was pretty cool to see all of the amazing people who had performed there. It used to be an auction area for cattle, then became an ammunitions factory (or something like that) during WWII, then a bar.

Treyton asked for this picture. He kept posing like this for the next two days. It was weird.

Instead of a disco ball in the dance area, they have this sequined saddle. I thought it was so fun!

How sweet are they?

My mom and I. She hates these kind of pictures.

Posing with one of the cowboys.

His face was just so funny on this one.

They each picked out a special pony there to remind them of the trip. We had lots of fun!
