Fall Fun

There is nothing better than Virginia in the fall. The colors are gorgeous, the temperature is a blissful 70 degrees, and there are lots of fun area things to do. I love it!
This past Friday I was able to go on my very first field trip as a mommy! It was so fun. Treyton was SO excited to go and even more excited that I could go with him. He was too cute. He is a pretty shy little boy, but he was so hyper all day. His teacher, Mrs. Ribler, said she had never seen him so chatty and crazy. We rode the bus for about an hour up to the pumpkin patch, took a hayride to the pumpkins, picked pumpkins, ate a picnic, and played in a hay bale maze. It was so fun! And a HUGE thank you to the two who watched Jayci and Griffin.

After multiple fake-outs, Treyton finally found his perfect pumpkin!
These were the four in my group. Both little girls wanted to hold my hands the whole time and Treyton kept getting jealous!
Trey's class.
Picnicking with TONS of bees. Each person also got a fresh donut and lemonade. It is still so weird to me that I can go on a field trip as a chaperon, but I loved every minute!

Since Nate is gone until Thanksgiving and took his wrestling expertise with him, I am having to find extra active things to do during the day to wear the kids out. So, on Saturday, we headed to a nearby park. The weather was perfect! The kids had so much fun. They made lots of new friends to play tag with, which was adorable. I love seeing kids interact with each other.

Griffin is loving the swings one minute and the second after I took this picture, he burst in to tears! Story of my life this weekend. He is sick and is super moody (which is SO not like him.) Oh well. He still steals my heart every time he smiles and giggles.
Does anyone else think these things are weird? Jayci stayed in it for literally 30 minutes.
Treyton doesn't need pushes anymore. Sad!
Griffin loved hanging over this and playing with the dirt. I love the discovery age.
It got a little physical playing tag.
My standing boy doesn't stay down for long anymore! It makes me so nervous with all of the hard edges and corners around, but he is so dang cute doing it.

Fun fotos, Alyson! Can't believe how grown up Griffey's getting - and what a change with Treyton and Jayci from a year ago. It's going so fast - - we can't wait to see you all!
