Thanksgiving Festivities

We kicked off the Thanksgiving week with a couple of school parties. I am Treyton's classroom mom so I got to go to Treyton's Thanksgiving Feast, to set up and help out. It was so fun! Treyton had made me my very own Indian hat, which was so sweet of him. The kids were so excited. It was really fun to watch them all interact with each other and for me to talk to the other moms and teachers!

Nate got to go to Jayci's ice cream social the same day. It was the last day of her term for preschool, so the kids and parents all got together for the last part of class to celebrate with ice cream! Nate was a little hesitant to go because he would most likely be the only dad, but he sucked it up and went anyway. How could he resist that face?!
After Treyton's school on Wed. we headed up to DC to spend the actual holiday with my brothers, Tyson and Todd, my sister, Sarena, and my parents...along with some of Adam (my brother in law)'s family who live in DC and Georgia. We had TONS of people. And unfortunately, forgot my camera for the actual Thanksgiving Day. We had to reserve the church and have it there because there were just too many of us. It worked out perfect! The kids had TONS of room to play while we ate and hung out.

Adam and Trevor (I think) set up an obstacle course in the gym and then had timed runs. It was pretty funny! And it was great because Adam got permission to ordain Trevor to the office of a Deacon while we were all there together. It was really special for him to have some of his uncles and both grandpa's there for that.

The next day, everyone (except me and griff, diana and Sawyer-it was about 20 degrees and SO windy.) went to the park to do a family/kid race just for fun.

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving week. Lots of fun with family and friends. So much to be thankful for!
