Even though he is just starting medical school and isn't a doctor yet, the school likes to do a white coat ceremony where the students recieve their white coats and take the Hippocratic Oath because they will start seeing patients within three weeks (under doctor supervision, of course!). This is kind of like thier initiation into school. It was really great to be able to be there and have his Pre-med advisor attend, a friend from SVU, my dad and my brother all go as well. We are so proud! He keeps saying he hasn't done anything yet, but it takes a lot of work just to get into school. A lot of people don't even make it that far!
