R.A.M.: Remote Area Medical. Nate has been participating in these free medical and dental care clinics for those who can't afford it for about the past 5 years. He loves going. On one of his first times, he got to meet a really great plastic surgeon from NC and has since developed quite the friendship with him. He gets to work specifically with him whenever he goes and has even been down to NC to assist in his practice and go to a Panther's game with him. So, last weekend was the latest of his weekends away. He was able to do his FIRST surgery all by himself! He was so excited. He removed some kind of tumor from a women's ankle. He cut, removed, and sutured! I seriously can't imagine him being or loving anything more than he does medicine. Good thing he is going to be a doctor! Here he is in action, along with Dr. Voce:

That's awesome. It kind of makes me sad that I am not in school anymore, because you get to do so many new and different things and everything is so exciting. Tell Nate to enjoy.
